It was great to see the Round Rock Express win their opening game tonight. It was also a personal honor to be included in the Opening Ceremony for their 10 year anniversary. As Round Rock Chamber Board Chairman in 1999, one of our initiatives was supporting the Ryans and their dream to bring baseball to Central Texas. I believed then and still believe that this venue is valuable to Round Rock, serving our community with family friendly entertainment . Thanks, Express, for 10 wonderful years!

Monday, April 6th, 2009I had the opportunity to speak at the monthly meeting of the El Amistad club on Sunday. This is a great group of citizens who have been a vital part of the Round Rock community for many years. Their annual Memorial Day Fiesta is coming up in May. I plan to attend and encourage the citizens of Round Rock to support their fundraising efforts that provide scholarships for deserving graduating seniors along with other worthy causes. Friday, March 13th, 2009Welcome to my blog! This format not only gives you, the citizens of Round Rock, a sense of who I am, but also gives me a format to discuss some of the great things about our community as well as some of the issues that I believe need to be addressed.
I want to thank all of my supporters for their encouragement and faith in my abilities. As voters become familiar with my platform, I hope to add many more to the group. I have served Round Rock in many volunteer positions over the past 24 years and I am ready to be your councilman.
