On Friday evening, February 27th, the Round Rock Area Arts Council hosted our first event that showcased some amazing talent from the Greater Round Rock Area. We had art pieces, including all mediums for painting as well as sculptures. The attendance that evening exceeded our expectations. This is the beginning of tangible plans to bring Art and Culture to Round Rock.
I am proud to be a member of this awesome group of energetic, passionate and creative individuals. Great things are coming.
As a City Council Member, I will be a strong advocate of these efforts to make a place for Art and Culture in Round Rock. I will be joining Kris Whitfield and Rufus Honeycutt as they are also strong advocates of this effort.
