Round Rock Area Arts Council

On Friday evening, February 27th, the Round Rock Area Arts Council hosted our first event that showcased some amazing talent from the Greater Round Rock Area.  We had art pieces, including all mediums for painting as well as sculptures.  The attendance that evening exceeded our expectations.  This is the beginning of tangible plans to bring Art and Culture to Round Rock. 

I am proud to be a member of this awesome group of energetic, passionate and creative individuals.  Great things are coming.

As a City Council Member, I will be a strong advocate of these efforts to make a place for Art and Culture in Round Rock.  I will be joining Kris Whitfield and Rufus Honeycutt as they are also strong advocates of this effort.

Welcome to the Campaign

Welcome to my blog!  This format not only gives you, the citizens of Round Rock, a sense of who I am, but also gives me a format to discuss some of the great things about our community as well as some of the issues that I believe need to be addressed. 

I want to thank all of my supporters for their encouragement and faith in my abilities.  As voters become familiar with my platform, I hope to add many more to the group.  I have served Round Rock in many volunteer positions over the past 24 years and I am ready to be your councilman.
