I had the opportunity to speak at the monthly meeting of the El Amistad club on Sunday. This is a great group of citizens who have been a vital part of the Round Rock community for many years. Their annual Memorial Day Fiesta is coming up in May. I plan to attend and encourage the citizens of Round Rock to support their fundraising efforts that provide scholarships for deserving graduating seniors along with other worthy causes.
